چکیده
This paper introduces a new variant of the Shortest Path Problem (SPP) called Cost-Balanced (CBPP). Various real problems can either be modeled as BCPP or include sub-problem. We prove several properties related to complexity CBPP problem. In particular, we demonstrate that problem is NP-hard in its general version, but it becomes solvable polynomial time specific family instances. Moreover, mathematical formulation CBPP, mixed-integer programming model, proposed, and some additional constraints for modeling requirements are given. validates proposed model extensions with experimental tests based on random The analysis results computational experiments shows extension used many applications. Obviously, due complexity, main limitation approach size A heuristic solution should required larger-sized more complex

A Novel Experimental Analysis of the Minimum Cost Flow Problem
In the GA approach the parameters that influence its performance include population size, crossover rate and mutation rate. Genetic algorithms are suitable for traversing large search spaces since they can do this relatively fast and because the mutation operator diverts the method away from local optima, which will tend to become more common as the search space increases in size. GA’s are base...
متن کاملThe Balanced Wheat Supply Problem and a Heuristic Algorithm
Wheat is a strategic commodity, and so its distribution system is always one of the major issues facing countries. The cost of wheat distribution and storage and the differences in the nutrient content of different wheats, have caused complicated problems in the wheat supply chain. In addition to controlling distribution costs, it could enhance the quality of wheat through blending different ki...
متن کاملA mathematical programming formulation of the household activity rescheduling problem
The so-called activity-based approach to analysis of human interaction with the social and physical environments dates back to the original time–space geography works of Hägerstrand and his colleagues at the Lund School. Despite their obvious theoretical attractiveness, activity-based approaches to understanding and predicting travel behavior have suffered from the absence of an analytical fram...
متن کاملA Mathematical Formulation of the Loop Pipelining Problem
A mathematical model for the loop pipelining problem is presented. The model considers several parameters for optimization and supports any combination of resource and timing constraints. The unrolling degree of the loop is one of the variables explored by the model. By using Farey’s series, an optimal exploration of the unrolling degree is performed and optimal solutions not considered by othe...
